Dahua presents three products using artificial intelligence. DH-XVR8208A-4K-I is a camera for terrain security, DH-XVR8216A-4KL-I supports face recognition and XVR8816S-4KL-I provides metadata search technology.

The site security camera can be set so that only sightings of people and vehicles trigger the alarm. This prevents unnecessary alarms caused by moving trees and bushes or bad weather.
The face recognition camera can be used in many ways. A blacklist of faces of unwanted persons can be entered. As soon as such a person is spotted, the camera generates an alarm. A white list can also be used, containing all employees, for example. Alarms are generated if someone is not recognised and is therefore apparently not an employee.

HDCVI
Dahua is also further expanding its range of HDCVI products. Artificial intelligence is also used in these. According to the manufacturer, the systems are suitable for image transmission over long distances, Internet of Things and 4K image quality via coax. Through metadata search, for example, images showing red cars can be quickly retrieved. This makes it possible to search on a variety of characteristics to detect suspicious cases faster.
