Also consider the upper floor, which is often easy to reach by climbing up (balcony or container).<\/p>\n<p>\u2714 Only issue a key to someone you can fully trust.<\/p>\n<p>\u2714 Don't turn your home into a shop window. Put valuables out of sight.<\/p>\n<p>\u2714 Make your house look lived in; do not close the curtains or remove plants in front of the windows, make sure lights are on in your house at night (by using timers, for example), ask relatives or neighbours to take the mail off the doormat or out of the letterbox.<\/p>\n<p>\u2714 Mark valuables and take photos of them.<\/p>\n<p>\u2714 Make copies of passport and identity documents.<\/p>\n<p>\u2714 Do not post on social media that you are away or on holiday.
